It’s well-written, sometimes funny, and easy to read. The D/s dynamic works perfectly, and both characters are flawed but appealing. There are moments of antagonism, sweetness, hostility, affection, genuine submission and real mixed up feelings. I think this story hits every one of my buttons – there’s dominance and submission, a little overt violence and a lot of mind games, punishment, control, a little public humiliation, and lots of hot sex.īut much more important, the story features two strong, believable, compelling characters with honest emotions. There are 13 chapters, so don’t believe him when he keeps saying that was the last chapter.
It starts off a little slow, but it picks up. If you have any interest in the stuff I write, you’ll want to read this one. I go back and read it every couple of months.
